Position Overview:
The MEP Multi-Technician plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems within a facility. This position combines expertise in various technical domains to install, maintain, and repair critical infrastructure, encompassing heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC), electrical systems, and plumbing. The role demands a versatile skill set, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient working environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance for a variety of AC systems, including Chillers, Split AC, and Package units.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot AC system issues, and perform necessary repairs to ensure optimal performance.
- Monitor and analyze AC system parameters to identify potential problems and implement corrective measures.
- Work on maintenance requests from tenants and assigned duties by the supervisor.
- Ensure routine cleaning of fan coil units and air-handling unit filters, chillers etc.
- Check on performance of air-conditioning and chill water systems.
- Overhauling of air-conditioning equipment and system.
- Fix shelving and cabinet construction.
- Fix door locks and security items, as well as various types of windows and glazing.
- Partition woodworking machinery and the minimal amount of general building.
- Remove damaged or defective parts or sections of structures and repair or replace, using hand tools.
- Finish surfaces of woodwork or wallboard in houses and buildings, using paint, hand tools and paneling
- Fill cracks and other defects in plaster or plasterboard and sand patch, using patching plaster, trowel, and sanding tool.
- Installs and repairs electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures in buildings. Installs circuit breakers and other electrical hardware and connects wiring to them.
- Maintaining all tools, equipment and working areas are all in good condition to ensure a safe workplace and to save costs.
- Ensure that all emergency calls are promptly and efficiently responded.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Multi Technician or in a similar role
- Technical certifications in relevant areas (HVAC, electrical, plumbing) are highly desirable.
- Must be proficient in both English and Hindi
