Key Responsibilities

  • Effectively manage and organize electronic health records (EHR) with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ensure precise document management and systematic file organization.
  • Prepare and compile informational packets for team utilization.
  • Maintain and regularly update spreadsheets to monitor relevant data.
  • Provide friendly and detail-oriented responses to inbound calls.
  • Handle sensitive customer and medical information with strict confidentiality.
  • Conduct audits of medical records to verify accuracy and compliance.
  • Create visual representations such as charts and graphs for clear data communication.
  • Process insurance claims and assist with associated administrative tasks.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems.
  • Familiarity with Epic Software is preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills coupled with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, particularly for inbound interactions.
  • Solid auditing skills for the maintenance of accurate records.
  • Experience in managing insurance claims and associated administrative responsibilities.
  • Capability to handle confidential information with professionalism.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in document management within healthcare settings.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required; an associate’s degree in a related field is preferred.
