About the Hiring Company: Ammunition Manufacturer

The ideal candidate is responsible for the safe maintenance, repair or replacement of plant equipment and systems, to ensure maximum production quantity and quality.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, machining work using conventional tool room equipment’s and other maintenance activities on equipment, including lubrication, inspection, and replacement of parts.
• Maintain, repair and overhaul mechanical equipment and parts in the plant. Also, diagnose, troubleshoot, update and repair malfunctioning utility equipment’s.
• Execute the preventive maintenance program as per schedules for plant equipment, machinery and related facilities.
• Assist the Supervisor / Manager in maintaining inventory (stock levels of spare parts and lubricants) used in plant equipment maintenance.
• Respond to emergency situations as needed and/or assigned for the purpose of resolving immediate safety concerns.
• Perform other tasks and duties as allocated by a department Manager or Superior.
• Ensure and adhere to safe work practices and procedures including, but not limited to, lockout/tag out and confined space rules and regulations.
• Read, understand and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics and diagrams.
• Maintain QMS ISO, safety, health and environmental policies and procedures and uphold standards of maximum safety.

Qualifications:

• Vocational Trade Certificate.
• Good command of English language.
• Minimum 3- 5 years of experience in manufacturing industries, process industries, ammunition industries
