Mechanical Design Engineer required

Degree: BE (Mechanical Engineer)

Experience: Revit: 5 – 8years (Consultant Experience in UAE)

Requirements

Processing heat load, ventilation HAP and pressure drop calculations so equipment can be properly sized, as well as compiling calculations for submittal to clients, and local authorities for approvals.
Select mechanical equipment for project.
Design issues coordination with authorities
Coordinating with Architect, Structural & MEP Teams.
Coordinating with MEP Sub- Consultants for authority regulations.
Coordinating with MEP Teams, for preparing tender and IFC documents.
Design integrated Management System (QMS, EMS and OHSAS).
Adhere to UAE rules and regulations.
Thorough knowledge and experience in carrying out mechanical services calculations, such as (but not limited to) HVAC, Drainage, Water Supply, Fire Fighting and LPG.
Design of HVAC as per local and international standards: UAE safety Code, ASHRAE Standards (Fundamental, System, Application, ASHRAE 6-1 Ventilation, ASHRAE 90.1)
Design of firefighting system as per UAE safety code 017 and NFPA Standards.
Design of plumbing system as per local regulations
Responsible for carrying out design change requirements in a timely manner
