Remote Math Teacher for High School Students | WFH
Overview
As a High School Math Teacher in a remote capacity, you will have the distinct opportunity to engage with a committed group of students as they navigate their e-learning courses. Your role will be instrumental in fostering students’ academic success through supportive mentorship and by facilitating their development of effective work habits. By utilizing technology to connect meaningfully with students, you will guide them toward achieving their educational aspirations. Although primarily a remote position, occasional in-person meetings at our Marion, Ohio office or other designated regional locations will be required.
Key Responsibilities
- Customize instructional materials to address the diverse needs and learning styles of each student.
- Implement innovative and engaging teaching strategies that inspire students to realize their full potential.
- Maintain consistent communication with students, families, and colleagues to ensure comprehensive support.
- Track student progress, evaluate performance, and provide tailored feedback to enrich the learning experience.
- Keep accurate and current records of student performance using designated organizational systems.
- Collaborate with fellow educators to cultivate a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Ensure adherence to program goals and objectives by implementing best practices collaboratively across teams.
- Act as the general education representative on Special Education teams, including providing progress updates for students in special education.
- Assist students in their preparation for state testing and oversee test administration as necessary.
- Analyze data from state-mandated assessments to identify student intervention needs and promote academic progress.
- Deliver Response to Intervention (RTI) instruction to facilitate students’ educational growth.
- Attend occasional meetings at the main office or other regional locations as required.
- Engage with organizational communication platforms to remain informed and connected.
- Perform additional tasks as needed to support the overall success of the program and its students.

- Strong proficiency in technology with reliable high-speed internet access.

Qualifications
- Valid Ohio Teaching License required.
- Candidates must reside in Ohio.
- Relevant experience in an educational environment is essential.
