• Job Location – Dubai
• Salary – AED 6000 – 8,000

Job Requirements:

• Degree/Diploma in mechanical/Electrical Engineering
• 5+ years of Marine estimator experience in UAE in marine/ship building/ship yard field.
• Must have experience in estimating cost for shipboard industrial work using specifications and related drawings
• Must have thorough understanding of equipment capabilities to effectively price and schedule projects
• Extensive proficiency with Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint,
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to coordinate with project managers, engineering staff and material vendors.
• Must have excellent negotiation and communication skills with domestic and international clients.
• Must have general knowledge of a wide range of commercial marine vessels.

Job Role:

• Responsible for collecting and analyzing data and information in order to work out competitive estimate for variety of marine projects.
• Responsible for meeting the monthly and yearly commercial target of the company.
• Complete proposals, submittals, estimates and bid summary sheets.
• Source costs with vendors as needed to complete estimating projects
• Ensure all necessary parts/components to complete a job are present and/or available
• Prepare reports and review data to make sure all essential information is present for estimating
• Prepare comprehensive cost estimates and technical proposals.
