Job Description

The Accounting Manager, Revenue will oversee a variety of core accounting activities essential to reporting Company revenue, including but not limited to, preparation and recording of general ledger journal entries, month-end close, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial analysis for portfolio companies. This role will also perform any duties normally associated with this position that are not expressly outlined here, and any other activities that will contribute to the growth of the organization.

  • Support Revenue Accounting Director as additional point of contact for revenue across the Company’s multiple entities
  • Day-to-day supervision of accounting team responsible for revenue, including monthly journal entries, customer cohorts, and reconciliations (cash, deferred revenue, unbilled revenue, AR subledger to GL, sales tax accrual)
  • Assist in all revenue projects and support cross functional initiatives that impact revenue processes
  • Support monthly FP&A analytics by providing responses to questions around customer revenue trends and discrepancies
  • Maintain accurate financial records, including but not limited to, balance sheet account reconciliations, journal entry support and appropriate detail for ad hoc analysis
  • Provide support for annual audit process
  • Other related duties assigned as needed

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • CPA preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in corporate finance/accounting role
  • Broad understanding of US GAAP
  • Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of building and managing high-performing teams.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organization and with external partners.
  • Proficiency in Workday Financials, Stripe, and Microsoft Office Suite preferred.
