JobOpportunity Manager Accounts (ACCA Qualified)

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced #ManagerAccounts to join our team in the UAE. The ideal candidate should be #ACCA qualified with a minimum of 2 years of #UAE experience in the #telecom or #contracting or #construction industry.

Responsibilities:

• To implement IFRS in the accounts department and to implement practices as per international standards.
• To lead the monthly financial close process, including accounts payable function, payroll function, ensuring all costs incurred are properly recorded, reviewing journal entries, account balance reconciliations and report preparation.
• To ensure participation in the ongoing development/establishment of accounting policies and procedures and operational strategies including the review and implementation of process and system changes.
• To Lead Audit, VAT and Finance Department to ensure overall coordination of all financial accounting activities through annual reports.
• To oversee variance analysis, financial statement analysis, budget analysis, and account reconciliations.
• Liaise between senior Management to produce timely, efficient and accurate month-end close and all internal management and financial reporting through annual reports.
• To oversee, plan and monitor sufficient cash flow available to run the operations of business smoothly.
• Take ownership of reporting costs, productivity, margins and expenditures of the company.
• Maintain accounting controls by developing and following policies and procedures and preparing and submitting reports to management.
• Perform any other relevant tasks assigned by the management.

Requirements:

• ACCA qualification (mandatory)
• Minimum of 2 years of UAE experience in the telecom or contracting or construction industry
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in MS Office and accounting software
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Located in the UAE (mandatory)
