Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated Management Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong project management skills, intermediate Excel proficiency, and exceptional communication abilities. This role requires a proactive, detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Functional Responsibility: Conducts organizational studies and evaluations, design systems and procedures, conduct work simplification and measurement studies, and prepare operations and procedures manuals to assist management in operating more efficiently and effectively. Possesses and applies comprehensive knowledge across key tasks and high impact assignments. Evaluates performance results and recommends major changes affecting short/long term organizational growth and success. Operates with appreciable latitude in developing methodology, processes, practices, and procedures on assignments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead project management efforts, ensuring timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder expectations are effectively managed.
- Utilize Microsoft Excel (intermediate level) and Power BI to analyze data, generate reports, and provide insights.
- Prepare and deliver clear and effective presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Standardize and organize data and records to improve accessibility and consistency.
- Support financial management tasks, including budget tracking and reporting.
- Collaborate with internal operational teams to identify process improvement opportunities and drive innovative solutions.
- Engage with cross-office teams to coordinate efforts and maintain alignment.
- Maintain a basic understanding of IT architecture to support project-related discussions and decisions.
- Act as a self-starter, proactively identifying problems and implementing effective solutions.
Required Qualifications:
- Six (6) years of progressive experience demonstrating the required proficiencies
- Bachelor’s degree
- Must be able to pass a DOD T2 background investigation, current DOD T2 background investigation or higher preferred
- Strong project management experience with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and data analysis tools).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Power BI.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated experience in financial management support.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proven ability to take initiative and solve complex problems.
- Experience in managing internal teams and facilitating collaboration across departments.
- Creative mindset with a focus on process improvement and operational efficiency.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in an IT infrastructure or federal contracting environment.
- Familiarity with IT architecture concepts.
- Previous experience working with government agencies such as the Defense Health Agency (DHA) is a plus.
