Big Logistics Company in UAE – Dubai Looking for qualified Maintenance Supervisor to Joining their Warehouse Team

Candidate should have experience and working knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and welding equipment.

Candidate should have experience and working knowledge of Overhead cranes maintenance with different capacities.

Warehouse Maintenance Supervisor Job Description:

• Perform general maintenance of warehouse equipment – may include troubleshooting (Conveyors, Motors, Air Compressors, Pneumatic Devices, Compactors, Power Equipment, Printers, Cooling Systems ), machine tools, pumps, bearings, blowers, fans, gearboxes, air handlers and other equipment as required.
• Ability to connect to PLC’s using the maintenance PC system and do basic programming and troubleshooting.
• Maintaining, repairing troubleshooting all machinery and equipment.
• Perform precision maintenance on automated robotic equipment – includes preventive maintenance, general upkeep, and daily cleanings,· Conducts preventive maintenance inspections and perform required preventative maintenance actions such as lubrication, cleaning, filter changes, alignments.
• Ability to diagnose problems for facility and warehouse equipment and make needed repairs and the ability to install new equipment.
• Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production and facility equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of warehouse equipment and facilities equipment during machine service.
• Ability to work across all two shifts, weekends and holidays as required to accomplish facility and production related tasks.
• Diagnose mechanical problems and determine how to correct them, checking blueprints, repair manuals, or parts catalogs, as necessary and repair or replace defective equipment parts, using hand tools and power tools, and reassemble equipment.
• Providing an intermediate level of expertise in responding to work orders, troubleshooting, and providing preventive maintenance on the warehouse equipment and systems in a large industrial environment.
• Day to day coverage of production equipment in assigned area – complete scheduled PM’s, respond to alarms, solve equipment breakdowns and fulfill production requests efficiently to minimize downtime

Qualifications for warehouse maintenance technician:

• Strong technical background with experience in warehousing industries preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of related experience working in a warehouse equipment maintenance
• Electrician license or 2-year technical degree in Industrial Maintenance or Mechanical Engineering preferred
• Ability to learn nomenclature of all assigned equipment, products, and quality standards
• Ability to read, write, and comprehend written material
