We are looking for a skilled Maintenance & Installation Engineer with strong experience in supermarket refrigeration systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, commissioning, servicing and maintaining commercial refrigeration equipment (chillers, freezers, cold rooms) and associated shopfitting systems, ensuring reliable operation and timely project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute installation, testing and commissioning of refrigeration systems and cold-room solutions for supermarket projects.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to reduce downtime and keep store operations running smoothly.
• Diagnose and repair faults across refrigeration units, control panels, piping, and associated electrical components.
• Coordinate with project and design teams to ensure installations match approved layouts and specifications.
• Conduct site inspections and prepare detailed reports, checklists and handover documentation.
• Ensure compliance with safety requirements, refrigeration codes and manufacturers’ guidelines.
• Support procurement by identifying required spare parts, consumables and installation materials.
• Train and supervise technicians, sharing best practices for installation and servicing.
• Liaise with clients, store managers and contractors to provide progress updates and resolve technical issues.
• Recommend improvements to enhance equipment efficiency, layout and maintenance workflows.

Qualifications & Skills Required:

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, Electrical engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years’ practical experience in commercial refrigeration installations and supermarket maintenance.
• In-depth knowledge of compressors, evaporators, condensers, controls, piping and refrigeration diagnostics.
• Able to read technical drawings, piping schematics and shopfitting layouts.
• Comfortable troubleshooting mechanical, electrical and refrigeration faults on-site.
• Understanding of HSE practices and relevant industry standards.
• Good communication skills for client and team interactions.
• Valid UAE/GCC driving license is preferred.
