Hiring Logistics Specialist – UAE
Job Summary
We are urgently seeking an experienced Logistics Specialist to oversee procurement, supplier negotiations, and outbound logistics operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain management, international shipping documentation, and cost optimization strategies.
Key Responsibilities*
Procurement & Sourcing:
- Develop and implement effective procurement and sourcing strategies.
- Identify and establish partnerships with profitable suppliers.
- Negotiate contracts with vendors to secure favorable terms.
- Approve purchase orders for goods and services.
- Monitor supplier performance and drive continuous improvement.
Logistics & Export Coordination:
- Prepare and manage export documentation (invoices, packing lists, delivery advice, etc.).
- Coordinate with freight forwarders for outbound logistics.
- Manage shipment schedules and ensure timely deliveries.
- Ensure compliance with international shipping regulations and Incoterms.
Cost & Risk Management:
- Track key performance metrics to reduce expenses and improve efficiency.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities through process improvements.
- Assess and mitigate supply chain risks.
- Analyze data to support strategic decision-making.
Requirements & Skills
-Education Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field.
Experience:
- 5+ years in a logistics company.
- 5+ years in import/export operations.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in supplier management software.
- Strong knowledge of international shipping documentation.
- Familiarity with Incoterms.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent negotiation and networking abilities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Must be currently residing in Dubai.
