Key Responsibilities:

Shipment Coordination:

  • Manage and oversee the scheduling, dispatching, and tracking of shipments.
  • Ensure that all logistics operations are carried out efficiently and within deadlines.
  • Coordinate with carriers, suppliers, and customers to resolve any issues related to shipments.

Inventory Management:

  • Monitor inventory levels and ensure that stock levels are maintained to meet operational needs.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits to verify accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with inventory control teams to optimize stock levels and manage warehousing needs.

Documentation and Compliance:

  • Prepare and maintain accurate records of all logistics transactions, including shipping documents, invoices, and customs paperwork.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and international trade laws.
  • Handle customs clearance and ensure that all shipments meet regulatory requirements.

Operational Efficiency:

  • Analyze logistics processes and identify areas for improvement to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Implement and monitor best practices in logistics and supply chain management.
  • Address and resolve operational issues, such as delays or discrepancies, in a timely manner.
  • Customer Service:
  • Provide excellent customer service by responding to inquiries, handling complaints, and ensuring customer satisfaction with delivery services.
  • Communicate effectively with customers regarding shipment status, delays, or issues.

Collaboration:

  • Work closely with other departments, such as procurement, sales, and finance, to ensure alignment and support for logistics operations.
  • Collaborate with external partners, including suppliers and transport providers, to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain management.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of logistics and transportation regulations.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in logistics or supply chain management (e.g., CLTD, APICS) is a plus.
