Position: Logistics Manager

Any graduate with 5-10 years of experience

Preference given to candidates with food industry background.

Supply Chain Management:

  • Overseeing the entire supply chain process, from procurement to distribution, ensuring smooth operations and timely delivery of goods.
  • Inventory Management: Managing inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels, minimizing excess inventory and stockouts.

Transportation Management:

  • Coordinating transportation of goods, including selecting carriers, negotiating rates, and tracking shipments to ensure timely delivery.
  • Warehousing: Supervising warehouse operations, including storage, picking, packing, and shipping of goods, while ensuring compliance with safety and security regulations.

Vendor Management:

  • Establishing and maintaining relationships with suppliers and vendors, negotiating contracts and terms to ensure favorable pricing and delivery terms.

Cost Management:

  • Analyzing logistics costs and identifying opportunities for cost savings through process optimization, efficiency improvements, and negotiation with vendors.

Risk Management:

  • Identifying potential risks in the supply chain and implementing strategies to mitigate them, such as developing contingency plans for disruptions in transportation or supplier issues.

Compliance and Regulations:

  • Ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations governing transportation, import/export, and safety standards.

Data Analysis and Reporting:

  • Analyzing logistics data to identify trends, performance metrics, and areas for improvement, and preparing regular reports for management review.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Leading continuous improvement initiatives to optimize logistics processes, enhance efficiency, and reduce costs.

Team Leadership and Development:

  • Managing and mentoring a team of logistics professionals, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high performance and professional growth.
  • Customer Service: Collaborating with customer service teams to ensure customer satisfaction by meeting delivery expectations and resolving any logistics-related issues promptly.
