Hiring Logistics Coordinator

Work Location: -Hamriyah Freezone, Sharjah

No. of Openings: – 01

Responsibilities: –

• Ensure proper transport Vehicle Inbound and Out bound data is maintained
• Ensure proper vehicle procedures and vehicle maintenance and repair as and when due.
• Ensure proper filing and documentation is in place for all vehicles.
• Inspect vehicles for compliance with maintenance requirements and ensure all vehicles are in good condition and reports of any damage are made by the driver concerned.
• To keep a track on the 100% vehicle utilization, communicate with the line manager in case vehicle is fully utilized.
• Ensure the underutilized vehicle is combined on same route to save cost on Fleet.
• Uploading the POD of the non-fresh in the share folder so that every cross functional department can get the data.
• Coordinating with customer and 3pl transportation for the loading and offloading of the trucks.
• Prepare timely reports of vehicle movement, fuel consumption, maintenance, accidents, and other fleet related issues
• Ensure all vehicles have journey sheets and that records of fuel consumption are accurate
• Coordinate with the drivers and ensure the trucks reach customer location, and plants within the agreed time limit in order to fulfill all sales and supply demands.
• Coordinate the outbound operation with the production team based on the sales order plan
• Keep logs regarding the total distance traveled by each vehicle
• Monitor driver productivity and develop driver performance and safety standards
• Ensure compliance with rules and policies for fleet management
• Maintain and update all files related to transport
• Follow up on Road permits with the PRO and obtain valid Road permits
• Participate in the enforcement of Food Safety and IMS mechanisms by following Al Ain Mill`s QHSE Policy and procedures.

Qualifications & Experience: –

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
