Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Logistics Coordinator at Merx Global Shipping & Freight LLC. located in Dubai. The Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating logistics operations, including organizing shipments, tracking inventory, and ensuring timely delivery. This role also involves engaging with shipping lines, NVOCC, Customs formalities, & customers, and internal teams to facilitate smooth logistics processes. Remote work is acceptable.
Qualifications
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite, UAE customs platform
- Knowledge of international shipping regulations and Local UAE ports process/customs Clearance procedures
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Experience in logistics, Knowledge of UAE Customs regulations
- Solid relationship with Shipping Line & NVOCC’s.
- Business development, with UAE companies & customers
- Minimum of 5 years experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in business/SCM or a related Logistics field.
- Relevant certifications and experience in the shipping and freight industry are preferred.
