Hiring Logistics Coordinator (JAFZA experience)

Job Summary.

A Jafza based Logistics Company is looking for a Logistics Coordinator who is willing to learn & grow professionally.

Responsibilities:

• Handle custom clearance procedures of Dubai / UAE Customs for import / export shipments
• Generating essential shipping documentation, such as Certificates of Origin, Invoices, Packing lists, JAFZA visitor’s gate passes, Inbound and Out Gate passes, etc.
• Examining Letters of Credit and preparing the required paperwork.
• Maintaining effective communication with freight forwarding companies.
• Ensure proper Customs documentation and Statutory Compliance
• Coordinate all shipment related activities of customers
• Manage Transfers within the Free Zone/ Mainland / Inter-Emirates
• Prepare necessary documents for Import duty exemption and export shipments.
• Coordinate and negotiate best rates for transport / shipping etc
• Inventory management in coordination with WH team
• Coordinate with customer and warehouse for all shipment related activities such damages/discrepancies/short/excess/ product pictures etc
• Transmitting shipping documents to forwarders and scheduling deliveries for proposed dates.
• Interacting with third-party logistics service providers in international locations.
• Providing the sales team with freight and delivery cost details in accordance with quotations.
• Following up with forwarders to ensure timely execution and delivery of shipments.
• Assisting customers with inquiries.
• Carrying out distribution services in compliance with local and international regulations.
• Offering logistical guidance and promptly resolving any shipment-related issues.
• Preparing company invoices and delivery notes.

Experience/Education/Skill-Set Required:

• Minimum 3 years of logistics coordination experience
• Min 1 year of experience in free Zone logistics, particularly JAFZA.
• Working knowledge of logistics software (ERP)
• Fluent in English (both verbal & written)
