Hiring for Laboratory Chemist Oil Well Stimulation Chemicals,

Qualification & Experience Criteria:

• M. Sc / M. Tech OR B. E /B. Tech (Chemicals/ Petrochemicals) from any reputed Institute or University.
• Experience: At least 8-10 years of experience as product development lab chemist for oil well stimulation chemicals is must.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Technical Product Development:
• New product development as per the client need and requirement for oil and gas field (Stimulation chemicals).
• Well versed in product development for oil well stimulation & fracturing activities likevarious acid stimulation fluid and its formulations. Acid corrosion inhibitor, acid retarder, acid emulsifier, non-emulsifiers, wetting agents, gelling agents/viscosifier, scale dissolvers/chelating agents, viscoelastic surfactants, friction reducers, Foamer & defoamer, sludge breakers etc is highly essential.
• Experience in product development for production chemicals/ drilling & cementing chemicals will have added advantage.

Technical Support & Instrumentation:

• To carry out the product performance testing in lab as per the client need for above developed products for stimulation and fracturing purpose.
• Must have knowledge about the various stimulation testing like scale solubility, iron control testing, hydraulic fracturing fluids, acidizing in sandstone, carbonate formations, acid corrosion inhibitor testing using corrosion tester, aging cells for acid testing, acid recipes testing for viscoelastic surfactant, acid emulsifiers, acid retarder and sludge testing etc.
• Must have hands on experience with various instruments for stimulation product performance testing. Experience wrt performance/ drilling/ cementing chemicals will have added advantage.
• Experience wrt commercial blending operations and QC monitoring of various oil field products and its raw materials, regulatory documentations and managing its track record.
• Overall Laboratory management for all above operations and product development & its performance evaluation. Inventory management for commercial blending operations. Field testing & trials, troubleshooting field activities at client side will have added advantage.

Soft skills requirements:

• Should be expert in soft skills like MS office, excel, power point and presentation skills.
• Documents preparation like technical reports, product MSDS, PDS and COA etc.
• Various tender document preparation wrt technical requirement.

QHSE Responsibilities:

• Must have knowledge of laboratory safety protocols and practices.
• During field visit must have to follow the Client’s safety practices at field
• Must have to follow company compliance with statutory requirements.
• ISO documents experience will be having additional advantage
