Description:

We are seeking a diligent and dedicated Kitchen Steward to join our team. The Kitchen Steward will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization in our kitchen facilities, ensuring a safe and sanitary environment for our culinary team to work efficiently.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen area, including washing dishes, utensils, pots, and pans.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, such as stoves, ovens, grills, and countertops.
• Dispose of trash and recyclables in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Assist with food preparation tasks, such as peeling, chopping, and slicing ingredients.
• Stock and replenish supplies in the kitchen and dishwashing areas.
• Follow all safety and sanitation protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

Requirements:

• Prior experience working in a kitchen environment preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
