Location: Saudi Arabia, Makkah Al-Mukarramah.
Position Summary:
We are dynamic Junior Planning Engineer to join the team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of project planning and scheduling, with a focus on ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Position Responsibilities:
- Prepare and manage project plans and schedules, including resource calculation, scheduling, and material procurement timelines.
- Continuously track and monitor project progress to achieve targets, updating and rescheduling as necessary. Follow up with contractors to ensure alignment with the project plan.
- Verify daily activity and progress reports from the execution department against the planning schedule. Prepare and present weekly and monthly project reports.
- Collaborate with architects, designers, consultants, and contractors throughout the project lifecycle—from conceptualization to execution. Ensure effective coordination of drawings with all stakeholders.
- Prepare budgets, estimate costs, manage cash flow requirements, and review financial and physical progress. Prepare cost-to-complete analyses and engage in resource planning using ERP systems.
- Conduct regular site visits to assess progress, address pending activities, solve physical problems, and ensure quality standards and project targets are met.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in project planning and scheduling.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, Microsoft Project).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
