Hiring Junior Finance Accountant
Reporting to: Finance Manager
Job Description:
We are urgently seeking a Junior Finance Accountant with experience in trading or within a group of companies in the UAE. The ideal candidate should possess a strong understanding of VAT, tax regulations, basic knowledge of corporate tax, and experience in tax return filing. A minimum of 2-3 years of UAE experience is required. Proficiency in Arabic reading and comprehension is advantageous. Additionally, familiarity with Oracle software is a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in financial accounting and reporting tasks.
- Maintain accurate records of financial transactions.
- Prepare VAT returns and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
- Support in corporate tax matters and assist in tax return filings.
- Collaborate with team members to streamline financial processes.
- Provide support during audits
- Monitor financial performance and assist in budgeting processes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- 2-3 years of relevant experience in the UAE.
- Experience in trading or group of companies preferred.
- Candidates with a background in audit firms are preferred.
- Knowledge of VAT, tax regulations, and corporate tax.
- Ability to read and understand Arabic is advantageous.
- Proficiency in Oracle software is a plus.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
