Invoice Management:

  1. Recording all sales and purchase invoices appropriately.
  2. Ensuring timely booking of payment vouchers and processing payables through online banking.

Internal Coordination:

  • Liaise internally with business heads and administrators for accounts receivable (AR) and accounts payable (AP) transactions.

Reconciliations and Month-End Processes:

  • Preparing general ledger (GL) reconciliations, month-end accruals, and provisions.
  • Ensuring compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and reporting requirements.

Financial Analysis:

  • Analyze financial data and provide insights to management for decision-making.

Support:

  • All other duties as assigned by Senior Accountant or Financial Controller.

Financial Operations Management:

Day-to-Day Operations:

  • Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger maintenance, and payroll processing.

Compliance and Efficiency:

  • Adherence to company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Delegation of Authority (DOA).
  • Streamline accounting processes and procedures to improve efficiency and productivity.

Project Assistance:

  • Assist in IT and transformation projects as required.

Compliance and Audit:

Audit Coordination:

  • Coordinate external audits and liaise with auditors to provide necessary documentation and explanations.

Regulatory Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations, filing requirements, and other statutory obligations.

Requirements:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting.
  • Professional Qualifications:
  • ACA, CPA, CA, ACCA, or equivalent (Part-qualified at least).

Experience:

  • 2-3 years of prior experience in relevant industries.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Advanced Excel skills; experience with ERP systems.
  • Knowledge of IFRS and IAS.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
