Description:

Fidinam DMCC in Dubai is looking for a Junior Accountant.

Responsibilities:

• Prepares financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.
• Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded
• Perform all activities related to the accounts payable function including reviewing, coding, and processing payments
• Perform account receivable functions including invoicing, deposits, collections, and revenue recognition
• Interpret and apply accounting policies, rules, and regulations to all work in order to ensure compliance with applicable standards
• Update financial data in databases to ensure that information will be accurate and immediately available when needed
• Prepare and submit monthly/quarterly or yearly financial reports
• Maintains records of financial transactions by establishing accounts; posting transactions; ensure legal requirements compliance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 2-3 years relevant experience working in accounting and bookkeeping
• Thorough knowledge and understanding of Accounting Standards
• Proficient skills in Accounting Softwares preferably Xero, Banana, QuickBooks, Zoho and Microsoft Excel
• Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• Strong verbal and written communication skills (English)
