Joinery Estimator

• Fit Out Estimator
• Location: Abu Dhabi, Mussafah
• Candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in a related field (Civil/Architectural Engineering)
• Minimum of 5 work experience in joinery / fit out in a well-established organization in a similar position (at least 2 years of it in UAE).
• Prepare the estimation with detailed break up possibly using estimation models and tools.
• Coordinate with subcontractors to get the price for various elements within the project.
• Ensure all aspects of the project have been included.
• Analyze drawings and prepare BOQ with specifications.
• Prepares work to be estimated by gathering proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents.
• Identifies labor, material, and time requirements by studying proposal, blueprints, specifications, and related documents.
• Computes costs by analyzing labor, material, and time requirements.
• Presents prepared estimate by assembling and displaying numerical and descriptive information.
• Prepares special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
• Maintains cost database by entering and backing up data
• Understanding drawings and joinery technical issues
• Visiting sites to gather information needed.
