Description:
We are seeking a skilled and proactive IT Support Technician to join our team across multiple sites in the UAE. The successful candidate will install, configure, and maintain computer systems and networks, provide hands-on technical assistance to staff and clients, and help ensure smooth operation of IT services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and configure computer hardware, operating systems, and applications.
- Monitor and maintain computer systems and network infrastructure.
- Provide in-person and remote technical support to staff and clients for system setup and issue resolution.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software faults, diagnose root causes, and implement fixes.
- Replace faulty hardware components when required.
- Maintain clear technical documentation and service reports.
- Follow diagrams and written instructions to repair faults or set up systems.
- Support roll-out and deployment of new applications and system updates.
- Create and manage new user accounts and profiles, ensuring prompt response to support requests.
- Manage and prioritize multiple open support cases effectively.
- Maintain productive working relationships with end users and technical teams.
- Test, evaluate, and recommend new technology solutions.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in IT support or a similar technical role.
- Strong troubleshooting, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver timely support.
- Valid driver’s license and own car preferred.
