Looking for an IT Support Officer Candidate

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced IT professional to join us on this journey and help us become more efficient by utilising his technological talents. The selected candidate will manage our present systems and assets, assist with upgrades and repairs, and give training and assistance as needed. To keep us at the bleeding edge, our ideal applicant has significant understanding of computer hardware and software, network maintenance, and sophisticated industry expertise. You will have an immediate influence on the day-to-day efficiency of our IT operations, as well as an ongoing impact on our overall growth, beginning on day one.

Objectives of this Role:

  • Ability to work with high integrity and minimal supervision.
  • A lively, energetic and strong personality with a practical “can-do” attitude.
  • Maintain critical IT activities such as operating systems, security tools, apps, servers, email systems, laptops, desktop computers, software, and hardware.
  • Manage mission-critical IT activities and system enhancements
  • Allow for quicker and better company procedures, as well as increased staff productivity.
  • Investigate and analyze new technologies, hardware, and software.
  • Troubleshooting Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls.

Daily and Monthly Responsibilities:

  • Install, setup, and provide support for workstation software, hardware, printers, and phones.
  • Analyze staff requirements, identify weaknesses, and improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Execute system and network administration, design, documentation, implementation, and testing, ensuring that components satisfy requirements and function smoothly together.
  • Upgrade apps and software, as well as troubleshoot performance.
  • Employees are trained on both software and hardware, and technical assistance is provided as needed.
  • Implement and keep track of daily backup and recovery processes.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science in Computer Science
  • 2 years of IT experience
  • Experience or understanding of operating systems; current equipment and technologies, business backup and recovery methods, and system performance monitoring tools
  • Advanced computer abilities and attention to detail
  • Capability to keep enterprise passwords and information private

Preferred Qualifications / Certifications:

CCNA or MCSE
