About the Role:
We’re on the lookout for an experienced IT Support Executive to join our dynamic team! If you have a background in IT support within the hypermarket or retail sector, we want to hear from you. This role is key in maintaining seamless IT operations, supporting end users, and ensuring all IT systems run smoothly to enhance the customer shopping experience.
What You’ll Do:
- Provide on-site and remote support for hardware, software, and network systems.
- Troubleshoot issues related to POS systems, inventory management systems, and other essential retail technologies.
- Maintain and support servers, workstations, printers, and scanners used in the hypermarket environment.
- Ensure system uptime and minimal downtime for retail operations by quickly resolving technical problems.
- Train staff on IT systems and best practices, helping them work more efficiently.
- Regularly monitor the performance of retail IT systems and collaborate with other departments for smooth operations.
- Maintain documentation of incidents, system performance, and IT assets.
What We’re Looking For:
- 2-3 years of IT support experience in a hypermarket or retail environment.
- Expertise in POS systems, inventory management systems, and retail hardware.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to resolve technical issues quickly.
- Excellent communication skills to work with non-technical staff and explain complex issues in an understandable way.
- Proficiency in networking, hardware maintenance, and retail software applications.
