We are looking for IT Support for our company.

Below lists are the responsibilities & qualifications required.

  Responsibilities:

  • Hands-on experience with Windows/Linux/Mac OS environments.
  • Ability to provide step-by-step technical help, both written and verbal.
  • Setting up and configuring new laptops and desktops.
  • Support and maintain MS Server/Desktops.
  • Install authorized software to laptops and desktops.
  • Ensuring security and upgrades are applied and kept up to date on desktops and laptops.
  • Antivirus installation to all desktops and laptops.
  • Fault-finding to laptops and desktops.
  • Reporting faults and maintaining logs on servers, desktops, and laptops.
  • Completing internal user moves including phones.
  • Patching of network and phones.
  • Ensure all logs for equipment and users are maintained.
  • Ensuring patches and upgrades are applied to core servers.
  • Fault-finding to core servers.
  • Creating purchase requisitions for IT hardware/software.
  • Ensuring all software purchased licensing is recorded and maintained.
  • Exchange server mailbox maintenance including archiving mailboxes.
  • Setting up and configuring of IP Phones and resolving issues in the connection.
  • Support ERP systems and train new users.
  • Coordination with ERP companies for issues and fixes.
  • Supervise the photocopier’s maintenance orders, prepare technical specifications, studies, reports.
  • Supports technical needs of conferences.
  • Managing & Monitoring CCTV.
  • Registration of new staff in the biometrics machine and generate report if required.
  • Supports the development and maintenance of Company websites.
  • Good Communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • A team player with a high level of dedication.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 Requirements:

  • 2+ Years of experience in an IT desktop support position providing L1/L2 support in any large Enterprise. (UAE or any GCC experience)
  • Must possess hands-on experience in managing desktop deployment and software distribution solutions.
  • Broad range of desktop, Notebook, Tablets & IP telephony knowledge, having knowledge on network and Microsoft Technologies will be an added advantage.
  • Extensive knowledge of standard desktop applications & operation systems, especially regarding Microsoft office applications, adobe products & windows operating systems.
  • Knowledge of desktop management solutions, anti-virus & security systems & backup systems. Communication, customer relation skills & the ability to work with a team.
