New Vacancy Dubai – IT Specialist 3+ years of experience in IT support and troubleshooting strong knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems
Knowledge of the latest digital technology Certifications in relevant areas of Networking, Cyber Security, Project management, and UAE Driving licenses are Plus. As the IT Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to end-users in various hardware and software applications. This includes troubleshooting, configuring, and maintaining computer systems, software, printers, and other equipment. The IT Specialist will also ensure that all systems are updated with the latest patches, upgrades, and security measures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to end-users in a timely and efficient manner
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and networking issues
- Configure and maintain computer systems, software, printers, and other related equipment
- Install, maintain, and upgrade software applications
- Ensure that all systems are up to date with the latest patches, upgrades, and security measures
- Maintain accurate documentation of all support requests and resolutions
- Collaborate with other IT team members on projects and initiatives
- Assist in the development and implementation of IT policies and procedures
- Conduct training sessions for end-users on new software and hardware
- Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field,
- 3+ years of experience in IT support and troubleshooting
- Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems
- Knowledge of the latest digital technology
- Experience with Active Directory and Group Policy
- Familiarity with networking concepts and protocols
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Certifications in relevant areas of Networking, Cyber Security, Project management and UAE Driving licenses are Plus
Working Conditions:
- The IT Specialist will typically work in an office environment with standard office hours. However, occasional work outside of regular business hours may be required for project work or to provide after-hours support.
- The IT Specialist may also need to lift and move equipment weighing up to 25 Kg.
