We’re recruiting a IT Security Head for a fast-growing Dubai- based company, that is aiming to be a world-class provider of solutions for economic cities. Platform that is a leader in the digital publishing space
Experience-10-12yrs
Notice period- 30days
Location- Dubai, onsite (5-day work week)
We’re looking for a qualified, experienced and dynamic Head of Information Security to lead the security initiatives
Must haves:
- Proven experience (10+ years) in information security, with a focus on both on-premises and cloud security
- Strong understanding of ISO 27001/27002 standards, GDPR, and other relevant security and privacy regulations
- In-depth knowledge of security frameworks, such as NIST, CIS, and OWASP
- Hands-on experience with security technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, encryption, identity and access management, SIEM solutions, and VAPT tools
- Familiarity with secure coding practices and application security principles
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think strategically and implement solutions effectively
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, or equivalent are highly desirable
Preferred Skills
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Understanding of DevSecOps principles and practices.
- Professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA) is preferred.
