Hiring for an IT Project Manager

Salary: AED 24000

Type: Long term

Notice- Immediate to 1 month

Expo- 10+ years’ experience in IT infrastructure with minimum 5 years as a Project Manager

Strategic

  • Develop the strategy for IT Infrastructure so that it is consistent strategic direction and ensures IT Infrastructure services are provided to an international standard;
  • Create the budget for IT Infrastructure in line with the budget on IT;
  • Create policies and procedures and ensure they are implemented across so that there is consistency in the use and development of IT Infrastructure services.

Operational

  • Operate IT infrastructure solutions and manage and execute day to day operational activities in line with defined policies, processes and service level agreements;
  • Maintain and update the operations of the IT systems according to best international standards;
  • Plan Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery for the IT Infrastructure function;
  • Manage and maintain the system performance at high levels and report any potential or existing threats or imbalances;
  • Implement appropriate level of Business Continuity Management measures for counteracting interruptions to business activities;
  • Ensure compliance of Outsourced Software/Hardware and manage IT software licenses;
  • Manage and maintain data storage and backup systems;
  • Oversee Infrastructure technology management and ensure its maintenance regularly; and Oversee datacenter management of IT

People Management

  • Recommend training needs for subordinate(s) and evaluate the outcomes of training courses in coordination with the concerned human resources personnel to leverage capabilities;
  • Conduct performance appraisals for subordinates according to scheduled plans and recommend necessary actions as per applied HR practices; and
  • Work with HR on identifying future manpower needs for the department in line with plans.
