Description:

We are looking for Investment Officer with the below details & condition :

Key Accountabilities.

Investment Analysis

• Examine and assess economic and market trends, earnings prospects, financial statements and various other indicators and factors to determine suitable investment strategies
• Look back at previous investment decisions and the thought process of making the investment decision
• Monitor closely financial press and keep a track of market trends, opportunities, risks and new investment products.
• Develop complex financial models and analyze legal documents and translate investment-level data into financial metrics
• Acts as a lead in monitoring external asset managers for investment performance and research.
• Leads quarterly calls with current and prospective investment managers and performs write-ups.
• Perform security-level analysis to interview investment managers on their positions.
• Analyzes and implements investment analytic systems and makes recommendations for workflow and reporting improvements.
• Create customized templates and output for internal and committee reports.
• Ad hoc research and analytical projects as determined by the CFO and Investments.
• Performing lead role in IFRS valuations process for all Investments including challenging methodology and market factors identifying the key drivers of valuation uncertainty and establish appropriate sensitivities for each driver as part of reporting processes

2. Administration Process

• Ensure that hard folders to be filed in the appropriate filing cabinet. Soft folders within the electronic directory or as appropriate after diary date and time has been set in consultation with the direct supervisor as noted in the correspondence.
• Update and maintain department records / data management in the approved filing system and ensure it is maintained in standards for audit.
• Prepare standard reports, templates, dashboards, scorecards, presentations, and metrics, monthly and year-end reports as requested by direct supervisor team (not only related to investments, but to the Company’s operations as well.

3. Employee Relation

• Respond to internal & external employee related queries, requests, issues and provide assistance.
• Engaging and liaising with external valuation providers as part of valuation assurance processes linked to external reporting

Qualifications & Skills:

• Education: CA/MBA/Bachelors in Commerce Accounting/ MIS standards – CFA/CMA/CPA runner is preferred.
