Cardiology Associates of Altoona is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Inventory Entry Clerk to join our team. This role is responsible for accurately entering, tracking, and managing inventory data, ensuring that all medical supplies, equipment, and office materials are properly documented and maintained. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to efficiently manage inventory records in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately enter inventory data into the company’s inventory management system, including medical supplies, equipment, and office materials.
  • Verify and update stock levels, ensuring that inventory is properly tracked and organized.
  • Assist with regular stock counts and inventory audits to maintain accurate records.
  • Monitor inventory levels and notify management when supplies are low or need to be reordered.
  • Work closely with the procurement team to ensure timely replenishment of stock and timely processing of orders.
  • Receive and process incoming inventory shipments, checking for accuracy and ensuring all items are accounted for.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory usage and assist with inventory reconciliation.
  • Assist in organizing and maintaining the storage areas for medical supplies and equipment, ensuring they are safely and efficiently stored.
  • Generate inventory reports and assist with the preparation of reports for auditing and compliance purposes.
  • Ensure that all inventory processes comply with company policies and healthcare regulations.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring inventory items are easily accessible and properly stored.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certification in inventory management, business, or healthcare administration is a plus.
  • Previous experience in inventory management, data entry, or administrative roles is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy when entering and managing inventory data.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with inventory management software or healthcare systems is a plus.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations when handling medical supply information.
  • Physical ability to lift, carry, and organize inventory items when necessary.
