We are thrilled to be partnering with a fast-growing manufacturing company building out their entire SOX compliance program! This is an amazing opportunity for someone passionate about SOX to come in and help build from the ground up – literally a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity!

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and test key financial controls.
• Identify control deficiencies, oversee remediation efforts, and report status to senior management.
• Develop and maintain SOX policies, procedures, and documentation.
• Conduct detailed walkthroughs of business processes to identify key controls.
• Partner with IT teams on system-related controls and security measures.
• Provide training and guidance to process owners on control requirements.
• Maintain audit documentation in accordance with professional standards.
• Build strong relationships with cross-functional business partners.
• Stay up to date on SOX regulations and internal control best practices.
• Lead special projects, operational audits, and investigations as needed.

Desired Skills And Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
• 2+ years of public accounting experience and/ or internal audit
• CPA and/ or CIA preferred
• Manufacturing industry experience a plus
• Strong knowledge of SOX 404 compliance
• Proven ability to manage projects and deliver results.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
