Internal Audit Manager for the Abu Dhabi location

The role holder is responsible for coordinating and supervising the activities of the Internal Audit Unit of the organization, to ensure an effective and efficient internal control system.

Key Accountabilities

• Assist in the development of organizational Risk Management Plan
• Plans financial, regulatory, compliance, or operational reviews/audits.
• Periodically analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of the control system in place to mitigate risk and promote the control culture of the organization.
• Conduct performance audit and special audit investigations as and when necessary, or upon request by an appropriate authority.
• Liaise with all departments within the organization to ensure effective and efficient auditing of operations.
• Undertake any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.

Experience & knowledge.

• Experience with one of the Big 4 accounting firms is mandatory, providing a solid foundation in audit practices and standards.
• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
• Professional qualification (CIA, ACCA, or equivalent)
