Interior Designer required

Smart Office Solution LLC, a Joinery and Fit out company based in Dubai for more than 21 years, is currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Interior Designer to join our team. We are expanding our operations and looking for candidates who meet the following qualifications and experience:

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a reputed Design Agency or Interior Fit out company in the UAE, with a proven portfolio of handling Retail, Commercial, and Hospitality projects.
• Strong knowledge of various luxury finishes and established contacts with suppliers in the UAE for procurement of these materials.
• Experience in creating Concept Designs, Style boards, Layouts, Schematic Designs, Visuals, and Detail Designs.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design/Architecture is a strong plus.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Sketchup, 3DS MAX, Vray or corona render and other design software.
• Ability to read and edit AutoCAD files.
• Strong design and technical skills in both Fitout and Joinery projects.
• Excellent knowledge of FF&E and finishes, along with established contacts with suppliers.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Fluent in English.
• Valid UAE driving license is a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Support the design department through all stages of the design process, from concept phase to construction phase.
• Assist in the preparation and review of architectural drawings, specifications, mood boards, and construction documents.
• Provide technical guidance to project teams.
• Collaborate with the Design Manager to review and approve shop drawings and submittals.
• Attend project meetings, provide input on design issues, and document client requests and requirements.
• Interact with clients throughout the entire design and project execution phase.
