Description:
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Interior Designer from the commercial construction/interior design industry to join our Commercial team in Dubai. The successful candidate will be a highly motivated individual that can develop and maintain excellent relationships with clients and key industry stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Listening (project brief), site investigation (site survey), interpreting (concept design) and creating (presentation boards)
- Assist in preparation and checking of cost plans and specification.
- Ensure bill of quantity reflects design intent.
- Assist, in preparation and checking of detailed site workshop drawings in AutoCAD.
- Provide design support by attending site meetings, prepare and forward site instruction and clarification or change to scope.
- Maintain and up-date drawing and sample transmittal records
- Confirm with rules, regulations, and procedures (refer ISO process maps)
- Communicate effectively with client, vendors and team in order to address client’s needs
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or related subject
- Experience in interior design related business
- Proficient in AutoCAD14, 2000 Photoshop and 3D visualization and – Microsoft Office suite
- LEED (preferred)
Strong creative and communication skills in English
