Linux – Infrastructure Support Specialist

Location – Dubai

Experience: 7+ years of experience at a relevant Technical position in large organizations. Banking background.

Skills:

• RedHat OpenShift technical extensive deep dive experience from capacity planning to implementation
• RedHat OpenShift virtualization deep knowledge
• Experience in managing Kubernetes clusters
• Extensive experience with RedHat, UNIX, Solaris and NIX systems system administration.
• At least 5 years of advanced Linux experience
• Extensive Linux troubleshooting skills
• Strong Experience with VMWare, Oracle Linux Virtual Manager, and concepts
• Knowledge on OS patch/ Firmware upgrades and troubleshooting & Identify and fix the root cause and implement the automation identified.
• Good knowledge with RedHat satellite and Spacewalk 
• An Expert level of experience in implementing and administrating common TCP/IP-based services, including DNS, DHCP, HTTP, FTP, SSH, SMTP, etc.
• Good level of experience with Middleware ecosystems such as Red Hat JBoss and Oracle WebLogic.
• Good knowledge with storage concepts and network protocols
• Good knowledge in Ansible, Jenkins, terraform and CI/CD automation pipelines
• Able to debug, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical issues.
• Solid interpersonal skills conducive to a team environment.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
