We are looking for a dedicated Import Coordinator to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The role involves serving as a crucial link between our internal departments and regulatory authorities to ensure compliance with import regulations for pharmaceutical products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate communication between internal teams and regulatory bodies to guarantee compliance with relevant laws.
- Ensure adherence to regulations established by the Ministry of Health (MOH), Dubai Health Authority (DHA), and the Department of Health (DOH) in Abu Dhabi.
- Handle paperwork submission to local authorities and internal departments as per regulatory requirements.
- Manage information for import permits, renewals, and deadlines.
- Stay informed about national and international regulations, implementing necessary changes accordingly.
- Engage with regulatory authorities, provide justifications, and meet submission deadlines.
- Address regulatory queries and oversee inspections for shipments awaiting clearance.
- Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders through efficient service and timely responses.
- Organize and maintain documentation by storing records in shared folders.
- Coordinate shipment clearance, validate shipping documents, and report goods receipts.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Previous experience in a similar role within pharmaceutical distribution as a Logistics/Supply Chain/Import Coordinator or Executive.
- -Familiarity with handling import permit applications with the MOH and DHA.
- Proficient in managing shipping documents, import procedures, and regulatory standards.
- Competence in Microsoft Office tools and system applications.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with meticulous attention to detail.
