Crowne Plaza Hotel Abu Dhabi is currently recruiting a HVAC Technician/Kitchen Technician.
Repair, replace or calibrate controls, compressors, thermostats, switches, fuses and electrical wiring. Skills and knowledge in copper brazing and wire connection. Maintain preventative maintenance schedules and procedures for all HVAC equipment. Follow safety rules, regulations and permits as applicable to the nature of work. Troubleshooting and repair of HVAC units. Monitoring of chilled water temperatures, flow and consumption. Able to troubleshoot and correctly diagnose electrical, control and mechanical failures and problems. Demonstrate understanding and awareness of all the hotel’s policies and procedures relating to Health and Fire Life Safety and ensure your direct reports to do the same.
The ideal candidate must be in UAE at least 3 years of experience as a HVAC Technician/Kitchen Technician in a 4/5 star hotel or catering sector. Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, kitchen, cold rooms and laundry equipment. Ability to read, interpret and execute engineering drawings, submittals and manuals. Ability to select a suitable size of valves, actuators, filters, thermostats, compressor, etc. Committed to delivering a high level of customer service. Excellent grooming standards. Ability to work under pressure and on their own.
