About the role: We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented HR Generalist to join our People team. The ideal candidate will excel in supporting HR operations, fostering positive employee experiences, and ensuring HR compliance. In this position, you will be responsible for delivering core HR services across clinical and operations staff. As an HR Generalist, you should possess strong organizational and interpersonal skills, with the ability to support day-to-day HR needs effectively, as well as ideate new solutions to streamline and automate our processes.

What you’ll do:
Customer Service and HR Operations:
- Support daily HR operations, including onboarding, offboarding, and maintaining employee records.
- Deliver high quality customer service in daily HR inquiries by responding to employee inquiries on HR processes, policies, and benefits in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with the HR team on various projects as needed.
Employee Relations:
- Serve as a point of contact for employees and managers, addressing concerns and resolving conflicts efficiently, knowing when to escalate to the HR Director.
- Support investigations and employee grievances in line with company policies.
- Track and report on employee relations issues and resolutions, recommending new process /policy improvements or educational materials based on trends.
Talent and Performance Support:
- Assist in various performance processes, including evaluations through Lattice.
- Support managers and employees through performance improvement processes and corrective action procedures by creating, iterating on, and educating on our ESS standardized practices.
HR Metrics and Reporting:
- Manage HR data in ADP and employee files, ensuring accurate reporting of employee information and HR activities.
- Create recurring HR reports on key metrics such as retention and engagement.
Benefits Administration:
- Collaborate with HR Director to oversee benefit programs and respond to employee benefits-related questions.
- Support open enrollment and education to employees on benefit options.
- Administer leave programs, including FMLA and ESS-specific policies.
Compliance and Risk Management:
- Regularly audit HR policies to ensure they comply with legal requirements and best practices.
- Stay up to date with employment laws and regulations, ensuring company adherence.
Employee Engagement and Experience:
- Support employee engagement initiatives, such as pulse and engagement surveys and reporting on feedback.
- Collaborate on the creation and implementation of programs to enhance employee engagement and retention.
Your Experience Should Include:
- 3+ years of experience in HR, including experience in employee relations, benefits administration, and compliance.
- A strong customer service orientation, with a focus on being approachable, responsive, and solutions-oriented.
- Polished and professional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong ability to listen and provide guidance to employees at all levels.
- Experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Desire to improve processes and solve problems.
- Knowledge of employment regulations such as ADA, FLSA, and FMLA.
- Experience maintaining an HRIS system is a must (ADP a plus).

Compensation: $75,000 – $85,000 + annual bonus
