VetsEZ is looking for a Human Resource (HR) Coordinator to join our remote team. The HR Coordinator oversees and streamlines Human Resource processes, guiding new employees through onboarding and assisting with benefits-related matters. This role ensures efficient plan utilization and fosters positive employee relations.

The candidate must reside within the continental US.

Responsibilities

  • Administer employee health and welfare plans, act as a liaison between employees and insurance providers, including managing enrollments, changes, and terminations.
  • Process required documents through payroll and insurance providers to ensure accurate record-keeping and proper deductions.
  • Reconciles benefits statements.
  • Conducts audits of payroll, benefits, or other HR programs and recommends corrective action.
  • Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions.
  • Assists with onboarding, offer negotiations, recruitment, and processing of terminations.
  • Assists with the preparation of the performance review process.
  • Schedules meetings and interviews as requested by the director of HR.
  • This role provides administrative support to the human resource function as needed, including record-keeping, file maintenance, HRIS entry, and other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field and/or equivalent experience.
  • At least two years of related experience is required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently to establish priorities and multi-task in a fast-paced environment to meet deadlines.
  • Working understanding of human resource principles, practices, and procedures.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
