Description:

Cotiviti is currently seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Yield Support Specialist to join its Yield Support team. This role plays a key part in ensuring smooth daily operations within the department by supporting Data Mining (DM), Coordination of Benefits (COB), Recovery Operations, Revenue Cycle, and Inventory Management teams.

The position focuses on administrative support, data handling, reporting assistance, and maintaining compliance with internal and external regulatory standards. The ideal candidate should be organized, adaptable, and comfortable working in a structured, fast-paced analytical environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform administrative and operational support tasks including filing, data entry, tracking, and correspondence
• Extract and manage data files for audits based on assigned parameters and requirements
• Generate reports and assist auditors with accurate data retrieval and formatting
• Serve as a point of contact for internal and external inquiries and data requests
• Support claim review processes by verifying accuracy of totals, calculations, and documentation
• Maintain productivity and quality standards as defined by the department
• Identify and report system issues or workflow challenges to supervisors
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements including HIPAA and client policies
• Assist in maintaining accurate and secure data handling processes
• Collaborate with IT and internal teams to support system improvements and data solutions
• Adapt quickly to new tasks and processes with moderate supervision
• Prioritize and manage multiple assignments efficiently to meet deadlines
• Participate in special projects and additional duties as assigned

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• 0–1 year of related experience; administrative support experience preferred (1–2+ years a plus)
• Billing or coding experience is an advantage
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and database systems
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Good analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and follow regulatory compliance standards
• Comfortable working with data systems, spreadsheets, and reporting tools
