Description:
We are urgently seeking a qualified Mechanical Engineer to take on the role of Workshop In-Charge / Logistics Coordinator in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience with heavy machinery and a proven history of managing workshop activities and logistics within the Emirate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage day-to-day workshop operations for heavy equipment and machinery.
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate maintenance activities, repairs, and spare-part inventories.
- Oversee logistics, including movement of equipment between project sites.
- Enforce safety regulations and ensure adherence to company procedures.
- Prepare and maintain accurate maintenance and logistics documentation and reports.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
- At least 8 years’ relevant experience in workshop management or logistics coordination within the construction/heavy equipment industry in Abu Dhabi.
- Strong technical knowledge of heavy machinery maintenance and operations.
- Prior work experience in Abu Dhabi is mandatory.
- Demonstrated leadership, strong communication, and excellent organizational skills.
