Twine, a leading freelance marketplace connecting top freelancers and contractors with global companies, is seeking a Web Developer to design, build, and maintain modern, responsive web applications. This is a remote, contract-based role where you will work closely with stakeholders and team members during US Eastern Time business hours.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop, test, and maintain responsive web applications using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Build reusable UI components with front-end frameworks such as React, Vue, or Angular.
• Integrate REST APIs and backend services, ensuring secure and robust data flow.
• Collaborate with team members and stakeholders from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM EST for real-time feedback.
• Optimize existing features for performance, accessibility, and SEO.
• Utilize version control systems like Git for code management and collaboration.
• Leverage cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure for deployment and scalability.
• Work with Next.js and WordPress for specific project components as needed.
Skills and Requirements:
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience with at least one front-end framework (React, Vue, or Angular).
• Familiarity with backend technologies like Node.js, Python, or PHP.
• Strong understanding of RESTful API integration.
