Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to manage and oversee daily warehouse operations in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will ensure efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods while leading a team of warehouse staff, maintaining inventory accuracy, and upholding safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and periodically review physical inventories to ensure accuracy and accountability
- Maintain and update records of all goods received, issued, and in stock
- Segregate and label defective or non-conforming parts to prevent misuse
- Record and verify all received items against invoices, purchase orders, and delivery documents
- Dispose of expired, obsolete, or waste stock following company procedures
- Allocate materials and equipment to projects based on requirements
- Ensure sufficient stock levels are maintained to support ongoing and upcoming projects
- Monitor critical and safety stock levels, anticipating project needs and reorder points
- Safeguard all documentation (digital and physical) related to receiving, storage, and delivery of items
- Inspect incoming materials for quality and quantity to ensure compliance with specifications
- Communicate with the purchasing department regarding items that reach reorder levels to ensure timely procurement
- Plan and manage warehouse operations, including receiving, inspecting, labeling, stock counting, unloading, and dispatching items
- Track the status of materials delivered to the warehouse, project sites, and clients/customers
- Prepare and submit required reports (daily, weekly, monthly) to the Line Manager promptly
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the Line Manager to support warehouse and project operations
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field (preferred)
- 3–5 years of experience in warehouse or logistics operations, including at least 2 years in a supervisory role
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics procedures
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP software, and MS Office
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple priorities
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations in warehouse operations
