Description:
CALSTART, a mission-driven organization focused on transportation decarbonization and clean air, is seeking a Voucher Processing & Redemption Specialist (VPRS) to support multiple state and municipal voucher programs. The VPRS will manage voucher applications efficiently, ensure data accuracy, and comply with state and company policies while coordinating with applicants, dealers, and OEMs to resolve discrepancies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review voucher applications for eligibility, completeness, and compliance with program guidelines in a high-volume environment
  • Accurately enter and manage data in Voucher Processing systems such as Salesforce, and maintain digital documentation
  • Communicate clearly with external stakeholders regarding application status, missing documents, and next steps; escalate when necessary
  • Provide professional customer service to applicants, dealers, and other external partners
  • Monitor and interpret voucher dashboards, redemption rates, and program metrics
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and collaborate with internal teams to implement changes
  • Work closely with Voucher Processing team, CALSTART staff, and external partners to ensure program success

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong attention to detail, time-management, and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in data entry, data analysis, Microsoft Office Suite, and CRM systems such as Salesforce
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and troubleshoot using available resources
  • Developed interpersonal skills to maintain effective relationships in multi-team environments

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in grant management or voucher processing programs
  • Knowledge of incentive landscapes and policies, including CARB or other public agencies
