LingoTribe is a global voice platform that pays people to speak naturally in their native language to help train inclusive AI. This role involves having authentic, unscripted conversations (minimum 10 minutes per session) and recording them to LingoTribe’s platform using a professional-quality external microphone and a computer. Your natural conversations help improve AI that understands language and culture.
Responsibilities:
- Engage in natural, unscripted voice conversations (minimum 10 minutes per session).
- Record high-quality audio using a professional external condenser mic and submit sessions through LingoTribe’s platform.
- Keep recordings clear and free of background noise; work from a quiet location.
- Collaborate with your language community for support and feedback.
- Follow simple quality guidelines provided by LingoTribe to ensure consistency.
- Speak naturally about everyday topics, culture and personal experiences to help create inclusive AI.
Qualifications:
- Fluency in English or another supported language (Japanese, Korean, German, etc.).
- Access to a professional external condenser microphone (USB condenser mics such as FIFINE K669, Shure SM7B, etc., with a pop filter).
- Stable internet connection and a quiet, distraction-free space to record.
- External headphones for monitoring audio.
- Comfortable holding natural, unscripted conversations with friends or family.
- No prior experience required — just be yourself and speak naturally.
