Description:
Simply Paraplanner, working in alignment with TrueNorth Wealth & Impact, is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Virtual Paraplanner to support financial advisors in delivering high-quality, values-based financial planning services.
This role plays a key part in preparing financial plans, conducting research, and supporting annual client reviews to ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment with client goals. The ideal candidate will work closely with advisors to analyze financial data, prepare planning scenarios, and ensure smooth execution of client recommendations.
The position requires strong technical expertise, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work independently in a collaborative advisory environment focused on ethical and client-centered financial planning.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare comprehensive financial plans and annual client review reports
• Analyze client goals, financial data, risk tolerance, and planning assumptions
• Update projections and evaluate progress toward financial goals
• Develop planning scenarios and provide recommendations for advisors
• Prepare meeting summaries using advisor tools and AI note systems
• Ensure accuracy of financial planning data across platforms such as RightCapital, Holistiplan, Advyzon, and CRM systems
• Support advisors in client meetings and planning discussions when required
• Coordinate implementation steps based on advisor recommendations
• Maintain accurate records and improve planning processes and templates
• Stay updated on financial regulations, market changes, and planning best practices
Requirements:
• 3+ years of experience in an RIA or financial planning environment
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field
• CFP® designation preferred or actively pursuing
• Strong understanding of investments, portfolio analysis, and financial planning principles
• Experience with tools such as RightCapital, Holistiplan, Redtail, and Advyzon is a plus
• Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• High level of accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail
• Strong knowledge of:
• Financial planning, investment analysis, and portfolio management
• RIA workflows, client servicing, and advisory support processes
• Financial planning software and CRM tools
