Mercor is collaborating with a leading AI research lab to recruit skilled Video Prompting Experts for an innovative project designed to enhance AI models’ understanding of visual storytelling. This position involves analyzing short video clips and developing precise written annotations that capture key elements such as subjects, actions, settings, and emotions. The insights generated will play a vital role in advancing AI’s ability to interpret and reason about video content.
Key Responsibilities:
• Watch and analyze video clips, crafting detailed textual descriptions that outline the scene, subjects, and sequence of events.
• Annotate emotional, environmental, and narrative aspects to strengthen AI comprehension of visual composition.
• Apply sound judgment to select the most relevant attributes describing each piece of visual content.
• Adhere to structured annotation standards and adjust quickly to updated guidelines.
• Work asynchronously with Mercor’s project leads and research teams to maintain consistency and quality.

• Strong written communication and descriptive abilities.
• Excellent observational and analytical skills to interpret complex storytelling details.
• Keen attention to detail and consistency in annotation quality.
• Ability to follow precise instructions and adapt to evolving frameworks.

Additional Information:

• Workload: Up to 60 hours weekly, based on project needs.

Compensation & Contract Terms:
• Hourly rate of $40 USD.
